The Toronto artillery community has created a LinkedIn Group (www.linkedin.com). Steve Zurbrigg is the moderator of the group.
The aim of the group is to provide connection between the serving artillery and the local community. The members provide financial and physical support for items not funded by the government to the 7th Toronto Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery which is the local reserve unit and connection through the Royal Canadian Artillery Association to the Canadian artillery. We contain a subgroup, “The Limber Gunners” who operate a 25 pdr (one of the guns used during the second World War and the Korean conflict era) which fires blank rounds for salutes. As associates or members of the 7th Toronto Regt, we take part in unit events and social activities. The members provide support to the other members and families in times of need.
In order to join this group please forward an e-mail to Steve at
vicepresident@torontogunners.org
and Steve will respond by e-mail containing the link to get you enrolled. Once sufficient members get in the group we will be able to initiate discussion forums and post events of interest to the Toronto artillery community.
