Parades

Since its first parade in 1994, the gun has attended several parades and has been exhibited in many shows.

One of the features of our gun and quad is that it is operational in every respect. The quad which was originally built by General Motors in Oshawa in 1944, still has its original motor and pulls the gun and ammunition limber which were built in 1942. This gun still fires the proper rounds of gunfire (blanks of course). The gun is one of very few operational 25 pounders in Canada today.

We have annual parades with the 7th Toronto Regiment RCA on Victoria Day and Remembrance Day where we participate in the ceremonial firing of 21 rounds of gun fire. The 25 pounder is the Number 1 gun for these firings.

Refer to our calendar when the gun, limber and quad will be on display.
